Singapore's only regular community tournament organiser using official Pokémon VGC & TCG rules — plus Pokkén and fun side formats.
Our Mission
The Trainer Shed exists to provide a community and space for aspiring World Champions to interact, practice, and improve — all before the official VGC Nationals in Singapore.
We are the only Pokémon tournament organiser in Singapore that regularly hosts community tournaments using official VGC (Video Game Championships) and TCG (Trading Card Game) rules. We also run Pokkén Tournament DX events in partnership with Pokken Singapore, and occasionally host fun side formats like Z-A Ranked Battles. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or picking up your first deck, The Trainer Shed is your home for competitive Pokémon in Singapore.
Looking ahead, we're gearing up for Pokémon Champions (releasing April 2026) and keeping an eye on Pokémon Wind and Waves (announced for 2027). As the competitive landscape evolves, The Trainer Shed will be there to help Singapore's community stay at the forefront.
Our tournaments follow the Swiss pairing system with Top Cut elimination brackets — the same format used at official Pokémon Regional and International Championships worldwide. This means every match counts, and every player gets the competitive experience they deserve.

The Trainer Shed has been an official *SCAPE partner since 2022. *SCAPE is Singapore's national youth organisation and cultural hub located at Somerset, dedicated to nurturing youth potential through creative, entrepreneurial, and community-driven programmes.
Through our partnership, we host our tournaments at *SCAPE, providing an accessible and central venue for the Pokémon community in Singapore. *SCAPE's support enables us to create welcoming, well-organised events that bring trainers together from across the island.
